Letters to Attorney General Greg Abbott
On October 3rd, State Rep. Frank Corte sent a letter, also signed by my good friend Senator Dan Patrick, to my good friend Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott. Corte and Patrick asked General Abbott to determine whether Texas laws suspending or revoking Texas business licenses for the employment of unauthorized aliens is permissible under the U.S. Constitution.
For your review, I have attached my letter to General Abbott supporting the arguments so eloquently outlined in a letter from Vinson and Elkins also attached. I would urge you to send your letter supporting the V & E arguments.
